FAQ

Is Jute Cotton good for bedcovers?

Yes. Jute cotton is naturally breathable, moisture-absorbent, lightweight, and durable. Its textured weave becomes softer with every wash while retaining its elegant handcrafted character.

Will the colors fade after washing?

With proper care, the hand block printed colors remain vibrant. Wash separately using mild detergent on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleach and tumble drying to preserve the print.

Does this come with matching pillow covers?

Yes. The set includes 2 matching pillow covers measuring 18" × 28" (50 × 70 cm).

Is this bedcover handmade?

Yes. Every bedcover is individually hand block printed by skilled artisans. Slight variations in print placement and colour are natural and make every piece uniquely beautiful.

What size bed does this fit?

This bedcover measures 90" × 108", making it ideal for King Size beds with generous coverage and an elegant drape.

What is the difference between quilted, kantha and jute cotton bedcovers?

Quilted bedcovers are layered and stitched for a soft, padded feel. Kantha bedcovers are finished with traditional running-stitch embroidery. Jute cotton bedcovers have a natural, slightly textured weave with a rustic look.

Can a bedcover be used as a light blanket?

Yes. Quilted and kantha bedcovers are light enough to use as a summer or AC blanket, and also work as a decorative throw over your bedsheet.

What is hand block printing?

Hand block printing is a traditional craft from Rajasthan. Artisans carve designs into wooden blocks, dip them in colour and press them onto the fabric by hand, one colour at a time. Small variations in the print are a mark of genuine handwork, not a defect.

How should I wash my bedcover?

Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle in cold water with a mild detergent, and dry in shade. For jute cotton bedcovers, dry cleaning is recommended.
